The BlackBerry Leap also comes with the latest version of the fabulous BlackBerry 10.3.1 operating system. The president of the BlackBerry devices and emerging solutions in a statement at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) said “The new BlackBerry Leap was built specifically for mobile professionals who see their Smartphone devices as a powerful and durable productivity tool that also safeguards sensitive communications at all times”. This means that the BlackBerry Leap can be used to transact businesses without any fear of hackers trying to access secret information on the phone.

The BlackBerry Leap also gives a place for entertainment and general lifestyle. It has an 8-megapixel rear camera coupled with a 2-megapixel front-facing snapper. The Leap has a micro SD card reader and a SIM slot on one side and a micro USB port on the bottom. It also possesses an 802.11n Wi-Fi (dual brand) on board and supports Bluetooth 4.0.
